T. Cecil Snyder, 77, of ersdale, died Nov. 20, 1973, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Aug. 23, 1896, in Bedford County, he was a son of the late Rev.

Joseph F. and Rebecca ceded (Forney) Snyder. He was prein death by his first wife, the former Effie McClune, in 1925, and a brother, Robert. E. T.

CECIL SNYDER Surviving, are his widow, the former Lydia Glessner; two sons, Barry, of Bedford, and Jack, of Rockford, also a grandchild: a brother, W. Scott Snyder of Crescent City, a foster sister, Mrs. Blair Ritchey, of Hollidaysburg; and a sister-in-law, Miss Elizabeth Glessner, Meyersdale, who resides with the Snya niece, Nirs. George Dunkle of Everett, and a nephew, Dr. Grayson Cypher Snyder, of Bloundstown, Fla.

He was an employe of the PosItal Transportation Service for 43 years, serving as supervisor for the latter 15 years on a and 0 R.R. crew between Pittsburgh and Washington. For the past 10 years he was employed by the U. S. Department of Commerce Weather Service Forecast Bureau for the Meyersdale area.

In December 1972, he was given a Service Award by the National Weather Service. He graduated from Juniata College in 1917. In in the rural area of Bedford his early years, he a taught school County. Funeral service was held Friday afternoon in Amity United Church of Christ, Meyersdale, of which he was a member. Rev.

WYAND Mrs. Ada A. Wyand, 82, of Berlin RD 3, died Nov. 25, 1973, at her home. Born Jan.

28, 1891, in Brothersvalley Township, she was a daughter of Lewis A. and Annie (Hittie) Coleman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Wyand, and two infant sons. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs.

Charles (Dorothy) Diest, Mrs. Ray (Margaret) Engle and Mrs. Homer (Katherine), Gumbert, all of Mrs. George (Mary Ann) Wisler. Berlin RD also 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a brother, John W.

24, 1973, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born in Grantsville, he was a son of the late Irvin and Lucinda (Beachy) Baker. Surviving, are his three wife, the Folk; sons, James Baker, Finzel, David Baker, Berlin; and Ronald Baker, Baltimore, a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Bowman, Grantsville; and nine grandchildren. He was a member of Camp 41, Woodmen of the World.

LISTON Mrs. Edna M. Liston, 83, formerly of Confluence and the Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, died Nov. 23, 1973, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born May 21, 1890, in Selbysport, she was a daughter of the late Kimmel and Ella (Green) Frazee.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bailey Liston, two sisters and five brothers. Surviving are two children, Eileen, wife of Merle E. Blough, Hollsopple RD and Robert C. Liston, married to the former Lenos Heineman, Sykesville RD 6, also four grandchildren and a great-grandson. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Confluence.

HOOVER Adolph L. Hoover, 55, Rockwood RD 1, died Nov. 20 in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born on April 4, 1918, in former Clara two, stepchildren, Joseph New Lisbon, Wisconsin, and Clara C. Kirby of Mauston, Wisconsin, and two grandchildren.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He operated the Hoover Upholstery Shop. Services conducted Nov. 23 at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, the Rev.

WOY Jacob F. Woy, 86, of Somerset, died Nov. 20 in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born May 22, 1887, in Somerset Township, a son of the late Andrew and Catherine Walker Woy. He was preceded in death by his first wife, former Minnie Baker, an infant daughter and six brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Marten, and five children: Mrs. Charles Miller, Uniontown; Herbert and Daniel, both of Somerset; Arthur, Somerset RD Mrs. Catherine Devore, Rockwood RD 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was a brother of Mrs. Edward Fogle of Berlin.

FOY Howard F. Foy, 87, of died Nov. 17 at his home. born in Garrett County, son of the late John and Butler Foy. His wife, Laura Diehl Foy, preceded him in death.

Mr. Foy was a retired farmer and a member of the State Line United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Delbert Foy, North Carolina; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Bender, Fort Hill RD 1, and Mrs. Lizzie Pullin, Grantsville RD five brothers, Walter and Henry Foy, both of Listonburg; Harry Foy, West Virginia; George Foy, Friendsville, and Robert Sanners, Addison; two sisters, Mrs.

Anna Wilhelm, Listonburg, and Mrs. Caroline Jones, Toledo, Ohio; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Services were conducted at the State Line Church Nov. 21, the Rev. Paul Lovejoy officiating.

Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. CHARLES J. FARRELL Charles J. Farrell, 77, of Fort Hill, died Nov.

18 in Veterans' Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 11, 1896. He was the husband of the late Freda Schwotzer. Surviving are a brother, Alfred J. Farrell, Baldwin Manor, also a number of nieces and nephews.

He was a veteran of World War a member of the VFW, Syria Shrine and Masonic Lodge 582 of Homestead, Pa. Services were conducted Nov. 21 in the Jefferson, United Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. HARRY W.

LENHART Harry W. Lenhart, 74, of Confluence, died Nov. 19 at his home. He was born June 12, 1899, in Somerfield, a son of the late George W. and Maggie Van Sickle Lenhart.

Surviving are his wife, the former Alice Smith; a son, George, Beaufort, S. two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Cook, District Heights, Mrs. Miriam Glessner, Pittsburgh; five grandchil- and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Beggs, Confluence.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph. He was a member of Confluence Trinity, Lutheran Church, Somerset Lodge 358 of the Free and Accepted Masons, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsourgh, Syria Temple of Pittsburgh, the Tall Cedar Lebanon and the Knights of Pythias, Confluence. Haer, 36, of Garrett RD 1, died Nov. 18 in Pittsburgh. She was born January 1, 1937, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary White Burley. Surviving are her mother; her husband, Charles and the following children: Charles, Scott, Benjamin, Leonard, Malinda and Mary, all at 0 and anotner daughter, Mrs. Jack Meyers, Meyersdale.

Also surviving are these ers, Jack, Harry both of Meyersdale; Richard and Clifford, both of Wrightsville; these sisters, Mrs. Eileen Goldsmith, Euclid, Ohio; Mrs. William Nicklow, Wrightsville; and one grandchild. Services were conducted Nov. 21 at Konhaus Funeral Home.
