My general reminder for Beyond Non-JD readers: if U.S. LL.M. programs use their USNWR rankings (general and specialty) to sell you on their programs, my suggestion is to ask how those USNWR rankings help LL.M. students like you achieve your goals. Again, my background working for a top Tax LL.M. program for three years informs my thinking on these issues. One of the reasons I'm launching LL.M. Scorecard: the metrics that matter to the LL.M. students who reach out to me have almost nothing to do with what USNWR measures. Where can LL.M. students find the programs that help them achieve their post-LL.M. goals, ease paths to U.S. lawyer licenses, and do so at the most competitive costs?

Top 20 Law School education, experience, and opportunities for less than $20K/year. That’s incredible! In this age of prohibitive higher education costs and unmanageable student debt - this is really important and sets the University of Georgia School of Law apart from its peers.Not only does UGA have the lowest cost of attendance of the Top 20 ranked schools but that cost is almost 50% less than its closest peer and over 70% less than the average Top 20 school.
