What a journey it has been, these last 7.5 years so far in Duke-NUS Medical School (and, I hope, many more to come). As they say, families are the compass that guides us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter. So, any success is shared- and truly, I couldn't have done any of it without the husband adding fuel to the fire all the time! Cheers to family, which above all, gives us strength.

Alone, we can make a ripple. Together, maybe, we can make a wave. If anything, I'm hopeful for the future of pediatric research. Hopeful that we can band together across disciplines and try to make a difference (how we measure that is another question!).

⌛️In formal schooling days, my 'index number' in class was perpetually {03}.⏳️ Who said "What goes around comes around"? I had the chance to be featured today as {03} in the first Global Health Newsletter of 2024 🙏 🏩Thank you all. It must be said that the greatest effort is made by the families, providers, and their entire ecosystem of care. I am but one gear in this system, albeit a very grateful one 🤲
