Regional Operations Supervisor need based in or around the central Connecticut area with a Convenience Store Retailer and Fuel Wholesaler.This experienced Leader will have full Operations and Marketing responsibility for 12 high volume locations from central Connecticut to Western Rhode Island.

This role involves coaching and mentoring the Corporate Store teams as well as managing the Dealer Tenant relationships. Up to 4 NIT (new to industry) locations planned for 2024/25 and they would like to revamp their Food Service offering(s).

Must have prior management experience in convenience or fuel business.

The Regional Gas Station Operations Manager oversees a network of a dozen gas stations in Connecticut and Rhode Island, comprising both company-operated and leased locations. This role involves monitoring store managers, ensuring operational efficiency, implementing new food programs, overseeing marketing initiatives, and launching promotions. Responsibilities include managing tenant relationships, store maintenance, coordinating paperwork with headquarters, safeguarding against theft, maintaining accurate records, verifying insurance compliance, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in the gas station industry, be available for emergencies, ensure timely opening and closing of stations, manage fuel orders to prevent shortages, and handle various operational aspects to guarantee the overall success of the gas station network.

Additional Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales and increase profitability across all stations.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess operational standards, cleanliness, and customer service quality.
  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable contracts for products and services.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Train and mentor store managers on best practices, company policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting for each station.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and innovations to remain competitive in the market.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among store staff members.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner to maintain customer satisfaction.
